Moorix docs

Everything you need to install Moorix, connect to your first server, and get productive with one workspace for every server.

Introduction

Moorix is an all-in-one desktop workspace for managing VPS, dedicated servers, and cloud instances. It brings together an SSH terminal, dual-pane SFTP, a built-in code editor, an encrypted credential vault, port forwarding, and cloud sync into a single fast, lightweight app.

Instead of juggling PuTTY for SSH, FileZilla for files, VS Code for editing, and notes for passwords, you do it all in one window.

Installation

Download the installer for your platform from the Releases page and install in seconds. No account is required to get started.

Quick start

Open Moorix and connect to your first server in a few steps:

  1. 1In the tab bar, click + to open the quick-launch palette, then choose Manage profiles.
  2. 2Click + New → New profile, then pick the SSH connection template.
  3. 3On the GENERAL tab, fill in Host, Port, Username, and your Authentication method (password or private key), then click Save.
  4. 4Click the profile to connect. On first connect, verify and trust the host key (TOFU).
  5. 5Open the File manager (SFTP) to move files, and double-click a remote file to edit it.
Tip: save your connection to the encrypted vault so it's one click next time — and enable cloud sync to carry it across devices.
